The aggressive cutting blade on this accessory cuts through burrs and removes corrosion in just seconds. This super-fast operation leads to higher extraction rates and reduced risk of a broken extractor.
Threaded adapter allows for use with 1/4†ratchet.
The ProCutter is 7mm in diameter. The arbor it attaches to is 1/4 x 28 TPI thread and inserts into the PowerDrive Adapter.
This device is designed to remove the burr created on an 8mm x 125 TPI fastener when broken. For exhaust manifold applications, the slim low profile design assists in reaching hard-to-reach areas like behind the shock tower on Ford and under the firewall on GM.
The ProCutter will deburr and clean the corrosion away in the tapped hole in the cylinder head and flatten the remaining stud remnant for easy extraction. It will also work on hard-to-reach spot welds in auto body applications for removing panels. The 1/8” arbor tip rises slightly above the cutter, making it compatible with a 1/8” pilot hole prohibiting walk and allowing for perfect alignment on all drilling applications.
This device will perform tasks similar to a $400-600 aviation drill but at a fraction of the cost. It utilizes an existing air or cordless 1/4” drive ratchet, providing a cost-effective solution.
