This adapter attaches the drywall screw to the shaft for the slide hammer. When the tip becomes dull, simply replace with a new drywall screw, instead of buying an entire new oil seal extractor kit. ProMAXX Tool reinvented the Oil Seal Puller to be more effective and efficient saving technicians time and money. Other pullers use a tapered threaded front to penetrate and remove the seal. This is an old school approach to a comm on problem, factor in degradation of the tip, and the need to buy a replacement tool, leaves you with an expensive repair for an ineffective tool.
