Bayonet Tire Inflator Gauge - Dually Truck Tire Air Chuck Head, 120 Max PSI, 1/4" NPT, 15" Rubber Hose, 10-120 PSI (Single Retail Pack)

Milton® (S-522w) Bayonet Tire Inflator Gauge - Dual Truck Tire Chuck Head, 120 Max PSI

Milton®’s #522 Dual head chuck bayonet gauge specializes in reaching dual and Dually truck tires. Dual head chucks make truck/tire valves more accessible with two heads for easier access. It has lever action and is made with heavy-duty construction, providing long service life even with constant use. Valve and gauge cartridges are replaceable and combined in one easy unit. Includes a 12" hose with a pressure range that offers 10-120 PSI (2-lb. increments) or 80-840 kPa (20 kPa increments). The air chuck has 1/8”-27 NPT threads. Complete with a jumbo white nylon indicator bar for easy reading.

With ¼” NPT threads, all Milton® hose whips are compatible for use and have interchangeable connections with any of the 4 Milton® Bayonet Inflator Gauge bodies: #520 (straight chuck head), #521 (single chuck head), #522, and #523 (grip chuck head to lock onto valve).

Recommended Replacement Parts:

S-522’s replacement air hose whip: Milton® #527 (12-inch hose whip w/dual truck tire chuck head).

S-522’s replacement air chuck: Milton® #500-4.

Replacement cartridge for #520-523: Milton® #525.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

If using a dual head type tire chuck with an inflator gauge and notice air is escaping through the off-side once connected to the tire’s Schrader valve, simply release the trigger and remove the inflator from the Schrader/tire valve. Point the straight side of the outlet up into the air (make sure it’s not pointed at someone). Squeeze trigger, allow air to flow (gravity will cause the sealing valve to drop), and place the chuck end onto the Schrader/tire valve while air is still flowing. Air will start to flow into the tire.

Dual head type tire chucks are unable to inflate a completely flat (zero air pressure) tire. Tire air pressure would normally cause the sealing valve to move and seal the unused side of the chuck. However, if a tire has 0 air pressure, the self-sealing valve has no pressure to react to.

This hose whip is free-flowing and cannot be used without the Bayonet Inflator Gauge- Air is turned on/off by the bayonet controller. If connected directly to an air source, air will constantly flow out.
